Special Registration Discounts Offered Through August

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) formally opened online registration now for its 2020 NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS), the largest annual light construction trade show on earth.

IBS will go back into the Las Vegas Convention Center, Jan. 21 — 23, in which it will co-locate together with all the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS) for the 7th annual Design & Construction Week® (DCW). The two displays will be expected to sponsor more than two,000 demonstrating brands crossing more than a million net square feet of display space, for its biggest yearly gathering of the home design and building market.

“It’s our goal for the NAHB International Builders’ Show to be the event of the year for our members and industry professionals,” stated NAHB Chairman Greg Ugalde, a house builder and developer from Torrington, Conn. “Nowhere else will you find top-level education sessions, a variety of networking opportunities, special events and an exhibit hall full of innovative products all in one place. This is truly an event you can’t miss.”

Attendees using a complete convention registration is going to have access to over 130 instruction sessions led by renowned experts on a broad assortment of business topics. New this calendar year, Master Workshops, formerly called Master Sessions, will be stored on Monday, Jan. 20, the afternoon before the series officially kicks off within pre-show instruction and will be available to all registered show attendees for an additional charge.

IBS will feature six Centrals that provide specific regions of focus inside the construction industry using their particular schedule of events. A number of tasks are offered within the Centrals for example workshops, networking events, roundtable talks and guided merchandise tours of the exhibit hall. The High-Performance Building Zone will comprise real-world building presentations, and IBS Live will host demonstrations centered on what is next in house construction. Additionally, that the IBS show floor will comprise the CEDIA Pavilion, a distance showcasing exhibitors who focus on technology solutions for your house.

The 2020 series will kick off to the dawn of Jan. 21 having an Opening Ceremonies occasion featuring basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson. That day, OMNIA Nightclub in Caesars Palace will sponsor the Official IBS House Party. Other events during the week include the Young Pro Party Wednesday nighttime at On The Record in Park MGM, followed by the IBS Closing Concert Thursday night with a performance by award-winning stone group, the Doobie Brothers.

Attendees may have the chance to see NAHB’s official IBS show houses, The New American Home® (TNAH) and The New American Remodel® (TNAR). The houses are intended to showcase innovative construction technologies, emerging design trends and the latest building products. The display goods in the houses are supplied by members of the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council, and Professional Builder and Professional Remodeler magazines may once more function as media patrons of these 2020 display houses.
